中国神经科学学会神经发育与再生分会、突触与神经可塑性分会将于2024年11月29日至12月1日在广东省广州市香港科技大学（广州）校内共同主办“突触发育与脑疾病国际论坛”。预计会议规模150人。诚邀国际上突触发育和脑疾病领域的专家学者齐聚一堂，分享最新的研究成果和临床实践经验，共同探讨突触发育的分子机制、脑疾病的发病机理以及新型治疗策略等热点问题，促进跨国际间的学术交流与合作，共同推动相关领域的发展。本次会议由中国神经科学学会神经发育与再生分会、突触与神经可塑性分会共同主办，香港科技大学（广州）脑与智能研究所承办。

The Branch of Neural Development & Regeneration and the Branch of Synaptic Plasticity of the Chinese Neuroscience Society will co-organize the “International Conference on Synaptic Development and Brain Diseases” on the campus of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) from 29 November to1 December 2024. The expected size of the conference is 150 participants. Experts and scholars in the fields of synaptic development and brain diseases are sincerely invited to gather together to share the latest research results and clinical practice experience, discuss the molecular mechanism of synaptic development, the pathogenesis of brain diseases, and novel therapeutic strategies and other hot issues, and to promote cross-international academic exchanges and cooperation, and to jointly promote the development of the related fields. This conference is co-organized by the Branch of Neural Development & Regeneration and the Branch of Synaptic Plasticity of the Chinese Neuroscience Society and supported by the Brain and Intelligence Research Institute of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou).

Meals during the conference will be arranged by the conference organizer.

Accommodation and booking method

Accommodation: The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) on-campus guest rooms.

Booking Method: Please scan the QR code below and fill in your personal information, then you can bring your ID card to the reception of the guest room to pay the corresponding price for check-in. (Room reservations should be made by November 20 as room availability is limited and will be prioritized based on the order of registration.)

Invoice: After checking out, you can apply for an invoice at the reception on the first floor, and the housekeeping department will send the electronic invoice to your e-mail within 1 week.

Entry admission

Advanced application is required to enter the campus of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). External attendees who have successfully registered for the conference are requested to scan the QR code below to fill in the information to enter the campus. The journey by taxi is about 80 kilometres, takes about 1.5 hours and costs about RMB 150.

The journey by taxi is about 68 kilometres, takes about 1 hours and costs about RMB 110.

c. Hong Kong International Airport - Gate 1 of HKUST-GZ

Public transportation about 2 hours

Railway

a. Qingsheng Railway Station - Gate 1 of HKUST-GZ

Take Metro Line 4 (Huangcun direction): Qingsheng Station - Dongchong Station (take 1 stop).

b. Guangzhou South Railway Station

Take Metro Line 7 (Yanshan direction): Guangzhou South Railway Station - Higher Education Mega Center S. (take 8 stops).

Transfer to Metro Line 4 (Nansha Passenger Port direction): Higher Education Mega Center S. - to Dongchong Station (take 5 stops).

Drive

Navigate to “Gate 2, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou)” to enter the campus and park in the underground parking lot.

Registration fee invoice: After the transfer is completed, please send the name of the conference, the transfer voucher, the name of

the participant, and mobile phone to treasurer@cns.org.cn to issue an invoice for the registration fee. The invoice will be issued within

one month after the conference and sent to the registration fee payment email address, the email sender is "Nuono.com".
